The Festdidgean Mining corporation was a mining and excavation company active from 2014-2015
Early Years[]
The Festdidgean Mining Corporation was formed in 2014 after valuable minerals were discovered in Babbling Cliffs. It was at first only comprised of Festdidgeans but no one the skills to perform advanced mining techniques, so an outsider named Justin was hired as the overseer of the Mining Corp. Justin was hired for his professional minecraft skills, his advanced tools and his unnecessary resume. Work began to remove valuable white stone from Babbling Cliffs. This was a very successful operation which greatly boosted the Festdidgean economy.
Later Operations[]
during the winter of 2014 and summer of 2015, The Mining Corp operated mainly in the Festdidgean Commons and in Old Festdidgea. Workers had learned more skills from Justin and were able to operate the Mining Corp by themselves. Many large rocks and fossils were discovered in the cliffs of Festdidgean Commons. So much so that Zac opened up a new business (who later worked in tandem with the Mining Corp) exclusively to find fossils and open up a museum.
Present Day[]
The Mining Corp is no longer in operation, although they have not officially closed. The services of the Mining Corp have not been needed since 2015 but a spokesperson for the Mining Corp assured that the Corp would be ready for any new jobs that could arise.
Controversy[]
In 2014, the Mining Corp was accused of mining on Holy Land. Elders of Festdidgea were unable to find any damage to said Holy Land but the name of the Mining Corp was still tarnished from the allegations.
In 2015 people reported workers of the Mining Corp wearing burqas. Some conspiracy theorists said that the Mining Corp were using Muslims as slave labor but a spokesperson of the Mining Corp said that the workers seen wearing the burqas were experimental Wankfordists and were indeed not Muslims at all.
